Made In Heaven presented by the very talented Zoya Akhtar and her team of associated, is one of the most critically acclaimed shows in the OTT space in India. The second season was, therefore, never a surprise.
As expected, the team announced the second season and its shoot was supposed to commence from March. Exotic foreign locations from Europe were picked for the shooting of Made In Heaven 2.
In an unexpected turn of events, Corona Virus aka Covid-19 turned pandemic and the government of India had to issue a travel ban, both in and out of India. Under the circumstances, team Made In Heaven is left with no choice, but to postpone the schedule.
According to the story, Made In Heaven, the second season would consist of destination weddings in Europe. It makes things easier for the cast and shooting. But, the outbreak of Covid-19 has put an end to the plan. Even the alternative North Indian shoot has been called-off due to the growing panic in India.
It also means, the show, which was previously supposed to arrive in early 2021 for streaming, will now be available only in mid-2021. It is if there are no delays further.
