There is still some time left for Michael B. Jordan’s Creed 3 to hit the theatres worldwide. The film held its worldwide premiere in Mexico City on February 9. And now, the feature’s early press reactions are out! And you all can take a huge sigh of relief as the upcoming Creed instalment has been declared a complete knockout. The majority of the critics have praised the chemistry between the leading man and his new rival, Jonathan Majors. It is safe to say that Jordan has opened his feature direction career with a bang!
Following the events of Creed II (2018), the third chapter focuses on Adonis “Donnie” Creed, who is living his life to the fullest. After struggling in the previous instalment, he has struck a balance between his professional and personal life. Out of nowhere, his childhood buddy and former boxing prodigy, Damian “Dame” Anderson, comes back into his life after spending many years in prison. Anderson believes he still has what it takes to become a boxing sensation. And he wants one chance to prove himself again. This scenario leads to an epic face-off between former childhood friends. On one hand, we have Adonis, putting his whole career at stake. On the other hand, there is Damian – a man who has nothing to lose.
Creed 3 currently stands at a score of 87%, based on 46 reviews. On Metacritic, the film has scored 72 out of 100, based on 21 reviews.

IGN in its review called the film ‘an exciting chapter’.
While Creed 3 may not stray too far from the very familiar format of a Rocky movie, seeing Creed truly begin a legacy of his own apart from Rocky Balboa is an exciting chapter for the series.
