Sundeep Kishan’s ambitious crime drama ‘Michael’ released in theatres on 3rd February, 2023. ‘Michael’, planned as a pan-India film, released in theatres in multiple languages of Tamil, Telugu, along with dubbed versions of Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada. The film received appreciation for its performances and premise, but failed to set the cash registers ringing at ticket windows.
Now, ‘Michael’ is gearing up for its OTT release very soon. ‘Michael’ will premiere on streaming on 24th February, 2023. Surprisingly, the film is arriving on OTT barely 21 days after its theatrical release. Telugu and Tamil streaming platform Aha Video has grabbed the post-theatrical streaming rights for ‘Michael’. Hence, the film will premiere on Aha Video on 24th February.
Touted as a neo-noir crime thriller, ‘Michael’ stars Sundeep Kishan in the role of a rising gangster, who takes on the biggest gangsters, and finally emerges king of the turf. The film has elements of romance, emotional drama, and of course, high octane action.
Besides Sundeep Kishan, ‘Michael’ features Vijay Sethupathi in a cameo, along with Divyansha Kaushik, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Varun Sandesh, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, and Ayyappa P. Sharma, among others, in pivotal roles. It is written and directed by Ranjit Jeyakodi, and produced by Karan C Entertainments and Sree Venkateswara Cinemas.
