Cristin Milioti’s star is shining brighter than ever. After captivating audiences with her scintillating, bold, and compelling performance as Sofia Gigante (formerly Falcone) in HBO’s The Penguin, she is set to return as Nanette Cole in Netflix’s Black Mirror Season 7.
Netflix recently unveiled the first look of Milioti as Nanette Cole for Black Mirror Season 7.

While details about the plot of Season 7 remain under wraps, it has been confirmed that the season will consist of six episodes. One of these episodes will feature Milioti, continuing the story of Season 4, Episode 1, titled “USS Callister.”
The first episode of Season 4 saw Nanette Cole embarking on a new adventure with Valdack (Billy Magnussen) and Shania Lowry (Michaela Coel) after an encounter with Gamer691 (voiced by Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul).
Netflix clearly knows a thing or two about timing, and Cristin Milioti’s return to Black Mirror could not have come at a better moment. She is currently one of Hollywood’s brightest stars, no longer recognised solely as Ted Mosby’s love interest from How I Met Your Mother. Her breathtaking performance in HBO’s The Penguin has firmly established her as a force to be reckoned with.
Although Milioti did not win the Golden Globe this year, despite being a strong contender in the Best Actress – Miniseries or Television Film category, her prominence has soared after The Penguin. Netflix now has the perfect opportunity to capitalise on Milioti’s rising popularity to attract even more viewers to Black Mirror Season 7.
Created by Charlie Brooker, Black Mirror is an anthology series that delves into the dark side of technology. It uses technological advancements as a lens to critique contemporary social issues.
