The movie is an epic romance and people just love it.
On the other hand, people totally failed to appreciate Tumbbad when it was released. They screamed about how great of a film it was, but only after the OTT release.
It is indeed a phenomenally great film and deserves all the attention of the world. However, we wish that it was also a commercial success.
Well, both these films are re-releasing today. The movies are absolutely gems but the audience is showing clear inclination. Until midnight yesterday, it had sold 21000+ tickets.
Veer Zaara is getting released only in 250 theatres, and still, there are more than 3000 bookings, which is nice. But, Tumbbad is way way ahead.
We are extremely elated that Tumbbad is finally getting the recognition it receives. Let’s hope that it emerges as bonkers a success as Laila Majnu was.
