Curry and Cyanide: The Jolly Joseph Case, this documentary is the talk of the town. Unlike The Hunt For Veerappan, Netflix didn’t bother to promote this documentary in a good manner.
Curry And Cyanide has proved to be a highly successful documentary film solely based on its content. The first documentary that made noise on Netflix was House Of Secrets: The Burari Deaths. That was back in 2021 and had giants such as Leena Yadav, AR Rahman and Burkha Dutt as the magnetic features.
In this case, there is nothing as such still Curry and Cyanide: The Jolly Joseph Case is making noise solely based on word-of-mouth promotion.
Regardless, what are the views?
As you can see in the chart above, the documentary is soaring high in the 4th position. It is a perfect example of how great content surpasses every limitation and resonates with the audience.
Unlike many episodes of Indian Predator, we didn’t hear the side of Jolly Joseph. We wish the makers could find a way to reach her, despite that it is a great documentary and a must watch for those who love true crime content.
Mind you, this is only for the debut week. We are pretty sure that the second week is going to be even better in terms of views.
