At this point, it’s unclear who from previous Marvel projects will return for Deadpool & Wolverine. Online whispers suggest Dafne Keen might be back as X-23 in this upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe film.
Keen was recently interviewed about a possible return in Deadpool & Wolverine. While she did not confirm anything, she did admit she enjoys fans wanting to see her reprise the role of X-23 in the forthcoming Ryan Reynolds starrer.
This is what Keen said in her recent interview with ComicBook:
“What goes through your head is, first of all, how cool that something is that big that if seeps and it bleeds into other projects. And how cool it is that I got to be a part of something that had such a huge legacy that almost 10 years later I’m still being asked about and that just feels pretty huge.”
We do not know if Dafne Keen will appear as X-23 in the upcoming Deadpool movie. But we do know that fans want to see her with Hugh Jackman’s Logan again on the big screen. Given the movie’s events are set to alter many timelines, it is possible that we may see Keen in the movie.
Rumours about Deadpool & Wolverine are spreading like wildfire on social media. Basically every actor who was ever a part of the Fox-Marvel universe has been rumoured to appear in the movie. However, we cannot deny that there are way too many rumours about the film. Fans don’t know which of them will turn into reality.
Dafne Keen gained global recognition after portraying X-23 in James Mangold’s Logan (2017), led by Jackman. Viewers praised her raw and gritty performance in the film. Logan minted over $619 million globally against its $97-127 million budget during its theatrical run.
Deadpool & Wolverine will arrive in theatres worldwide on July 26, 2024. Stay tuned for more updates.
