Media company ‘The Daily Wire’ has announced that they are working on a movie based on the story of Snow White from the original Grimms’ Fairy Tales. The movie has been titled ‘Snow White And The Evil Queen’ and a teaser has already been posted.
There was huge controversy after Disney announced that they are going to have a live action adaptation of the 1937 classic ‘Snow White and The Seven Dwarves’ with a lot of changes. A Latin American actress, Zegler, was casted in the role and the inclusive policy of the studio had fans raged as hell. The Grimm story states that Snow White has ‘skin as white as snow.’ Apart from that, they changed the dwarves into magical creatures of different shapes and sizes.
The actress has said, “She’s not going to be dreaming about true love. She’s dreaming about becoming the leader she knows she can be and the leader that her late father told her that she could be if she was fearless, fair, brave, and true.” She also argued that these changes were made because we needed this change.
Daily Wire co-founder Jeremy Boreing has said that the movie ‘Snow White And The Evil Queen’ will be a faithful adaptation of the Grimm story and there will be no attempt to twist and distort the story. Brett Cooper plays the role of Snow White in this movie. Fans are already divided on which adaptation is worth supporting and needed today. But it looks like the Daily Wire Snow White has some higher chances.
