Amazon Prime Video has dropped the trailer for its upcoming true crime documentary series ‘Dancing On The Grave’ and it takes up one hell of an intriguing case. Helmed by Patrick Graham, ‘Dancing On The Grave’ will premiere only on Amazon Prime Video on 21st April, 2023.
‘Dancing On The Grace’ trailer follows the curious case of the death of Shakereh Khaleeli, a larger than life, beautiful, wealthy woman who was the granddaughter of Diwan of Mysore. She was initially married to Akbar Khaleeli and was a mother to four daughters.
It was her second daughter Sabah who knew about her mother’s longing for a male child. She further unveils that Shakereh married Swami Shraddhananda within six months of her divorce and that’s when everything changed for the worse.
The trailer further shows how Shakereh went missing one day in 1991 and all suspicions led to Shakereh’s husband, a self proclaimed godmanSwami Shraddhananada. Shocking truths get unravelled about how Shakereh brutal killing and that it was a solid case of murder for gain but with no evidence.
Produced by India Today Originals, ‘Dancing On The Grave’ is about the disappearance of a wealthy heiress that sparks a search for answers by family members and police. She had abandoned the trappings of aristocratic heritage and formed a union with a mysterious godman – what happened to Shakereh, and more urgently, where did she go?
