A new video from the sets of Daredevil: Born Again teases the MCU debut of Marvel’s creepiest and grisliest villain, Muse. It will be interesting to see if the character actually appears in the upcoming Disney+ series.
The new clip shows a body double drawing the Kingpin graffiti with spray paints on a wall. There is only one Marvel villain known for his expertise in making graffiti, Muse. The character is a serial killer who makes graffiti with the blood of his victims.
We don’t know who will play Muse in Daredevil: Born Again. Marvel Studios are yet to comment on this matter. The following scene has been filmed with a body double, meaning that the studio has yet to pick an actor for the supervillain. The clip shows a graffiti of Wilson Fisk, aka Kingpin. It expertly captures his dual personality, showcasing two halves: one in a black suit and the other in a white suit.

Created by Charles Soule and Ron Garney, Muse made his comic debut through Daredevil (Vol. 5) #11 (2016). He has been depicted as a mysterious and deranged artist and serial killer who uses his victim’s blood to make large murals or other displays. He never reveals his true name in the comics, making it impossible for us to gain a proper understanding of his true origins. Some of his key superpowers are imperceptibility, superhuman speed, and superhuman strength. The first power enables Muse to absorb every bit of sensory information around him, making it hard for Daredevil’s enhanced senses to detect his presence. In addition, he is quite agile and expert in hand-to-hand combat.
The thing that makes Muse such a creepy villain is his god complex. Unlike Daredevil and his sidekick, Blindspot, Muse does not care about his victims or adversaries at all. During his final moments in the comics, he refuses to let Blindspot and Daredevil win, ultimately throwing himself into a fire and setting himself ablaze to control his fate.
The addition of Muse will certainly test how far Marvel Studios can go with the Rated-R format. The character’s comic run was short but memorable. Let’s see how the team of Daredevil: Born Again handles him. Stay tuned for more updates.
