The release month for Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 has finally been revealed. The newly released finale of Season 1, starring Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock (aka Daredevil), raised the stakes and took the iconic fight between Murdock and Wilson Fisk, aka Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio), to a whole new level.
Murdock’s story in the MCU is far from over, as we saw him team up with a group of honest and hard-working NY cops during the final moments of the Season 1 finale to take down Fisk for good.
Just a day after the finale aired, showrunner Dario Scardapane celebrated the end of Season 1 on Instagram. In his post, Scardapane also revealed when viewers can expect Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 to arrive, stating:
“It’s all led up to this… Such a mix of emotions as we close out S1. So grateful for the cast, crew and studio for their confidence and indulgence. Biggest of thanks to Sana, Brad, Kevin, Lou, Aaron, Justin, Charlie, Vincent, Deb, Jon and the whole mad circus. And yeah, Season 2 March 2026.”
Yes, we’ll have to wait nearly a year for the second season of Born Again—it’s set to arrive in March 2026.
Filming for Season 2 is already underway, and the upcoming season will feature eight episodes—one fewer than the first season, which had nine. However, the second season promises to be bigger, bolder, and far more action-packed than the first.
This update shows that Marvel is now confident in the overall creative direction of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2—a huge sigh of relief, considering the creative overhaul that previously halted production on Season 1.
