Alia Bhatt is soaring high on success. She has recently given Gangubai Kathiyawadi and RRR which are creating benchmarks of success on Netflix.
Now the highly talented actress has turned into a producer and is making her own film on Netflix. In a very innovative and funny video, Netflix has announced a new movie called ‘Darlings‘.
The film stars Alia Bhatt, Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma and Roshan Mathew. It was helmed by Jasmeet K Reen. The film wrapped filming in September itself but the theatrical release was on hiatus.
Now, it will be direct to OTT release for the film. Darlings is not precisely a pure comedy. It is a Dark Comedy in which things take a dark turn after something is done wrong to a woman.
The film is produced by Gaurav Verma, Alia Bhatt and Gauri Khan under the banner of Red Chilli Entertainment and Eternal Sunshines Production.
The video is anchored by a voice who goes to Alia Bhatt, Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma and Roshan Mathew to ask about the potential release of the film on Netflix.
They didn’t answer it but now everyone knows the fact. Netflix hasn’t announced any specific date for Darlings so we are yet to know that.
