Alia Bhatt starrer Darlings is a rage on Netflix India. The film is performing wonderfully not only in India but also globally.
Last week, we informed our readers how the views earned by Darlings is phenomenally more than RRR under similar if not the same conditions.
But the word of mouth matters and that has pulled down the latest dark comedy. In the first full week run of Darlings, the movie failed to garner views that are even close to the SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus.
Still, the movie is doing great per se and has climbed the ladder of “Global Top 10 Most Watched non-English Films”. Last week, with 10,210,000 hours of views, Darlings was occupying the 4th position.
Mind you that the film earned these views in a mere 2.5 days of running.
Last week, however, Darlings with over 13,960,000 hours of views graced the second position in the list.
As you can see, it is just below Carter, the famous Korean film which is almost double in terms of views if we talked about watch hours.
But even after all the nit-pickings, Darlings indeed proved to be a good deal for Netflix. They need more of such films to help them thrive.
