We are just one day away from the biggest venture Indian OTT has ever taken. The series is directed by the maestro Sanjay Leela Bhansali with a huge starcast led by Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sharmin Segal, Sanjeeda Sheikh and Richa Chaddha. Among the male cast, we have Fardeen Khan, Shekhar Suman and more.
Before the series drops, did you notice something unusual? There was absolutely no series from Netflix India this April. Yes, every month on average, there is one series a month.
Looks like Netflix India wanted to dedicate the entire month towards the promotion of Heeramandi, which is quite justifiable given the magnitude of the series. Moreover, they had a beautiful film by the name of Amar Singh Chamkila that you must be aware of.
So, interestingly, there has been a huge vacuum deliberately created for Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar to shine. The stakes are high and the series can’t really afford to not perform well.
Let’s hope that the content is something that impresses the audience and critics. We will certainly be reviewing Heeramandi as soon as possible. So, let’s see what Bhansali has cooked this time at such a grand scale.
