But the recent news regarding streaming of Deep Water is hinting that Hotstar and Hulu broke up for a while and that too on the occasion of Valentine’s Day. Last night, Prime Video released an official announcement stating that Deep Water will premier on March 18th the same day it will land on Hulu.
It is an erotic thriller having Ben Affleck and Ana De Armas in the lead role. It is based on an 1957 novel of the same name. We have previously seen Ben Affleck in “Gone Girl” that emerged as an extraordinarily well thriller but we must thank Rosamund Pike for the chilling portrayal.
Regardless, this is a rare event where a Hulu original is releasing on Prime Video in India but it could seriously affect the diversity of content on Disney+Hotstar if such events continue to be extended.
