It has been quite long since the monsoon has gone by. But regular rainfall is still making people nostalgic and romantic from time to time. Nothing is better than a slow, romantic series binge-watch and enjoy your rainy days.
‘Dekhechi Tomake Srabone’ (translated as ‘I Have Seen You In Monsoon’) is a new Bengali series that premiered only today. It is available to watch on AddaTimes. AddaTimes is probably the only other Bengali OTT platform other than Hoichoi that tries to bring original content time and again.
‘Dekhechi Tomake Srabone’ is directed by Arijeet Chakroborty. It stars actors Soumya Mukherjee and Neha Amandeep in leading roles. Soumya plays the role of Rudra, the son of a powerful and rich promoter who worships money and nothing else. Rudra who is not at all like his father falls in love with Ira, a widow who still has nor moved on from her love for the dead husband. When Rudra keeps proposing to Ira, she gets irritated. His father soon intends to forcefully buy Ira’s house and sends goons to their house. It follows the trope of old 70s movies and might even surprise audiences with its storytelling.
Bharat Kaul is playing the role of the villain. There are several other Veteran actors in important roles. The audiences are yet to respond about how the show is made and whether it is good or bad. But if you are fond of romances, you might as well give it a go.
