It’s just two days to go for Tamil star Dhanush’s birthday. The much-loved star turns 40 years old in two days, that is on 28th July. In celebration of the occasion, producers Sathya Jyothi Films are gearing up to release the first teaser for Dhanush’s hotly anticipated new film ‘Captain Miller‘. The production house posted on social media that the Captain Miller teaser will be launched at 12:01 am on July 28th.
As a run-up to the release of the Captain Miller teaser, Sathya Jyothi Films today released a new poster for Captain Miller, which shows off Dhanush in a never-seen-before avatar. The Tamil star is shown battered and bruised in the poster, with an edgy look, complete with long hair, overgrown beard and an intensely explosive expression on his face. Armed with a massive gun in hand, Dhanush looks murderous and mutinous in the poster.
For those who don’t know, Captain Miller is a Tamil historical action adventure film, written and directed by Arun Matheswaran. Besides Dhanush, the film stars Shiva Rajkumar, Sundeep Kishan, Priyanka Arul Mohan, and John Kokken in pivotal roles. Fast-rising young director Arun Matheswaran has made a name for himself with his recent outings – the explosive gangster drama ‘Rocky’, and the shocking revenge saga, ‘Saani Kaayidham’. Dhanush with Arun Matheswaran is an exciting pairing, and we can’t wait to watch what magic they come up with in Captain Miller.
Captain Miller is produced by Sendhil Thyagarajan and Arjun Thyagarajan of Sathya Jyothi Films. The music for the film is composed by G V Prakash. Captain Miller is planned as a pan-India film, to be released simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
