Producers Sathya Jyothi Films unveiled the first song from their highly anticipated film ‘Captain Miller’. The Dhanush starrer will release in theatres on Pongal 2024 as a festive treat for fans of the actor.
The first song from ‘Captain Miller’ revealed this evening is titled ‘Killer Killer’. The song is an introduction of sorts to Dhanush’s character in the film. He seems to be playing an outlaw of sorts in Captain Miller, a Robin Hood kind of gangster, who takes on the mighty and the powerful for the good of the poor. The ‘Killer Killer’ video consists of a montage of images, showing Dhanush’s Captain Miller in an edgy avatar, indulging in various acts of violence.
Interestingly, Killer Killer was released in three versions this evening – the original Tamil song as well as its Telugu and Hindi versions. The Tamil version has been sung by Dhanush himself. It starts off with an electrifying piece of music, moves onto meaningful rap lyrics performed by Dhanush, and concludes with a climactic flourish.
Singer ViruSs has performed the Hindi version of Killer Killer. HemaChandra has sung its Telugu version. The music of the song is energetic and foot-tapping. G. V. Prakash Kumar has composed the music of Captain Miller.
Captain Miller is a Tamil historical action adventure film, written and directed by Arun Matheswaran. Besides Dhanush, the film stars Shiva Rajkumar, Sundeep Kishan, Priyanka Arul Mohan, and John Kokken in pivotal roles. Captain Miller is produced by Sendhil Thyagarajan and Arjun Thyagarajan of Sathya Jyothi Films.
Owing to Dhanush’s popularity across India, Captain Miller is planned as a pan-India film, to be released simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Pongal 2024 pa locked as the release date for Captain Miller.
