Shershaah, Dharma Productions’ next is one of the most hyped-up films at the moment. Shershaah tells the story of a valiant soldier and has the perfect cast set up for it. Shershaah is slated to release on Amazon Prime Video on the 12th of August, 2021. With an amazing star cast and even an amazing story, Shershaah at the moment is all set to excite fans right on time for the Independence Day celebration.
To keep up with the hype, Dharma Productions have been continuously releasing exciting new posters every other day. On Tuesday, Dharma dropped another poster for “Shershaah” that mentioned “His Sacrifice” and it definitely is one poster that has left viewers and fans intrigued about the story. For many who don’t know, “Shershaah” tells the story of Kargil War hero, Captain Vikram Batra. He played a major role in bringing victory to India in the Kargil War, while he sacrificed himself defending the nation.
That explains the new poster’s title, “His Sacrifice”. This sacrifice isn’t something that comes easily to anyone. This is something that needs sheer dedication and courage, and if the story itself wasn’t enough Dharma has been going all out with the promotions to keep people engaged till the movie’s release. This isn’t the first promotional poster they released; they have posters with exciting captions that will easily draw any Indian towards it. From posters that tell about “his promise” to “his mission” to “his sacrifice”. Every single poster shows a whole new dimension of Captain Batra’s journey as a soldier.
If you ask us, well these promotions are much needed at the moment. Reason? Well, first of all, the movie is releasing through OTT, and rather than press meets, these posters, trailers, videos are something that will gain more attention and Dharma Production is fully aware of this fact. Also, there’s a competition during the Independence weekend too, because “Shershaah” is up against “Bhuj: The Pride of India”, another Indian war-based drama that has a solid ensemble cast. So, again these promotions work to engage viewers to watch the story.
As for the movie, Sidharth Malhotra essays the role of Captain Vikram Batra. Kiara Advani plays a major role in the movie, alongside Sidharth Malhotra. The movie is directed by Vishnuvardhan and with “Shershaah”, it will mark his Hindi film directorial debut. He has directed Tamil hits such as Arrambam, Billa, Pattiyal, and many more. The movie is produced by Dharma Productions and Kaash Entertainment Film.
