Dharma Productions has announced a new movie called Bedhadak. They are known for making big and impactful films. Even though a lot of people hate it for its malpractices of promoting industry insiders, it is one of the most powerful production houses in Bollywood. Apart from Yash Raj Films, there is hardly any other filmmaking company that can compete against it. Surprisingly, they are enormously successful in the OTT space as well.
Regardless, yesterday Dharma Productions announced that they would introduce 3 new members to their family by making a big announcement at 10 AM. Needless to say, it definitely looked like a typical new movie announcement and so it came out to be. People were guessing it to be the third instalment of Student Of The Year but it was a blind guess nonetheless. Because after the fiasco of Student Of The Year 2, it seemed highly unlikely.
So the announcement is not related to SOTY for sure. It is a new movie called Bedhadak. The film will be directed by Shashank Khaitan and it will cast new actors who would debut through it.
The first one is Lakshya Lalwani who will play the role of Karan in the film. He played the character of Porus in a TV serial before.

The second one in the list is Sanjay Kapoor’s daughter Shanaya Kapoor who’ll portray Nimrit in the film.

The third to join Lakshya and Shanaya is Gurfateh Pirzada who appeared in Netflix film Guilty.
