Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment has extended its partnership with streaming giant Disney+Hotstar. After the immensely successful Koffee With Karan, Hotstar is ready to host another show which looks rather sneaky.
Showtime is the new Hotstar show whose streaming details are very mysterious currently. The announcement caption says that it will unravel the secrets of what goes behind the camera rolls and the making of films.
Undoubtedly, a lot of things go behind making films. Years of hard work and progress give the result of a less than 3 hours movie.
Needless to say, the big production houses have an edge when it comes to releasing their movies. They snatch a majority of screens and the possibility of a production house to promote their films on a grander level. We see that in case of clashes, the big films try to eat up the competition but everything keeps going on because that is what keeps the business going.
Showtime will try to bring those real stories of film business through a “fictional” series. Of course, they are marketing it as fiction but it must contain many interesting incidents which actually happened in Bollywood.
Created by Sumit Roy, it will be directed by Mihir Desai and Archit Kumar. Stay tuned to Binged for all the updates which follow.
