The teaser for ‘Dhokha: Round D Corner’ is out now and it’s one mysterious tale of an entangled web of truths and lies. Helmed by Kookie Gulati, ‘Dhokha: Round D Corner’ is set to release in theatres on 23rd September, 2022.
The teaser for ‘Dhokha: Round D Corner’ begins with a woman (Khushali Kumar) held captive in a room inside Spring Shine building by a man, played by Aparshakti Khurrana, who is claimed to be a terrorist. This hostage situation results in heavy force being deployed outside the building.
Teaser then takes the viewers in flashback where Khushali and her husband, whose role is played by R. Madhavan, are seen enjoying a happy married life together. But soon all rosy, perfect things turn into fights and sadness. What looks more intriguing is when Khushali is seen flirting with her abductor.
It’s after this that Madhavan reveals to the police that his wife suffers from delusional disorder. But the most interesting part of the teaser is the story Khushali is narrating about truth and lies in the background where people tend to believe more in the lie than the truth.
What follows is a gripping sequence of events where it’s a mystery as to what’s right and wrong and whose telling the truth, Khushali or Madhavan? ‘Dhokha: Round D Corner’ is touted to be a suspense drama following a day in the life of an urban couple. Full of various twists and turns the film unravels the grey shade of every character.
Directed by Kookie Gulati (‘The Big Bull’, ‘Prince’) ‘Dhokha: Round D Corner’ stars R. Madhavan, debutant Khushalii Kumar, Darshan Kumar and Aparshakti Khurana (‘Dangal’, ‘Hum Do Hamare Do’) in lead roles. While Madhavan has recently created waves with ‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’, Darshan Kumar was last seen in the much acclaimed ’The Kashmir Files’.
‘Dhokha: Round D Corner’ is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Dharmendra Sharma and Vikrant Sharma. T-Series is the production company behind the film. ‘Dhokha: Round D Corner’ is set to release in cinemas on 23rd September, 2022.
