‘Dhoomam’ Trailer: Edgy Drama From Fahadh Faasil, Hombale Films

Fast rising Kannada film production company Hombale Films has now ventured into making films in other Indian languages. After the smashing success of the KGF films and Kantara, Hombale Films is on track to release its first ever Malayalam film later this month. Titled ‘Dhoomam’, the film releases in theatres worldwide on 23rd June, 2023.

Hombale Films has just released the first trailer for ‘Dhoomam’, and it features the chameleon-esque Malayalam star Fahadh Faasil in yet another edgy avatar. The trailer starts off innocuously enough, with Fahadh Faasil’s character proposing a seemingly silly idea in the boardroom. But soon, the trailer goes on a high-octane rampage, with a kidnapping at gun-point, midnight runs through graveyards, and other sinister things featuring prominently in the trailer. Getting rich quick is the topmost thing on his mind, and he’s willing to do whatever it takes.

The Dhoomam trailer introduces us to other characters in the film, played by stellar actors such as Roshan Mathew, Aparna Balamurali, Vineeth Radhakrishnan, Anu Mohan, and Achyuth Kumar. The film promises to be a suspenseful and thrilling watch, if the trailer is anything to go by.

Dhoomam is written and directed by Pawan Kumar, who made the gripping Kannada film ‘U-Turn’ earlier. Poornachandra Tejaswi has composed the music of the film, and Hombale Films’ Vijay Kiragandur is the producer.

Dhoomam releases in theatres on 23rd June, 2023, in multiple Indian languages of Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Have a look at the trailer of the film –
