Dice Media’s Operation MBBS created a special level of fandom after the first season as it chronicled the lives of medical aspirants who have to conquer all obstacles in their path both external and internal if they want to make it to the top.
Will the trio be able to survive the second year of MBBS? Being a medical drama, it is also set up in the background of the global covid pandemic. Operation MBBS stars Anshul Chauhan, Ayush Mehra, Geetanjali Kulkarni, and Sarah Hashmi in pivotal roles in this series. It is directed by Amrit Raj Gupta and produced by Aditi Shrivastava, Ashwin Suresh, and Anirudh Pandita.
Dice Media has created a lot of memorable shows for us in the recent past such as Little Things, Adulting, Please Find Attached, and What The Folks. The Best thing about shows such as these is that even though they have a comparatively simple background and setting it always manages to tug at your heart.
The 1st Season of Operation MBBS got immense love and chronicled the lives of the students in the First Year. This time around the same students are in the second year and along with it bring some new obstacles.
YouTube has provided a great platform for such creators who may not necessarily have the resources or contacts to get in touch with the big platforms but still have the zeal to tell an earnest story.
The first episode of season 2 is slated to release on 15th March and a new episode will be released every week therein.
