‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’ is out now and it is getting rave reviews. The makers of the original show indeed made a wonderful decision in hiring Raj and DK to direct this part of the show.
Samantha is the true spirit of the story and although there are some weak points in the plotline, the action choreography really makes it up. But did the show need some more action in it?
Indian viewers love action. And when it is from directors like Raj and DK what can be more lucrative! The action choreography of Honey Bunny is said to be far better than the previous instalments of the show.
The show is getting all the credits for its action and Varun-Samantha’s chemistry. But there could have been more if the makers had spiced it up with some more violence. The Bollywoodification of the show was fair enough and the director duo has done a good job in making sure it comes out like a good story, but it has taken its toll on the execution of violence on the show. What the international projects usually have in common is the ruthless violence and gore in espionage thrillers, but it could also scare a decent amount of viewers in the subcontinent.
The show definitely could have been a lot better, but it is still good as it is and is likely to break many OTT records.

First of all, it's definitely better than the western version of Citadel. Which I gave up halfway through because of the sleepy storyline, but here the show is engaging and has enough high-octane action sequences that will draw your attention towards it. pic.twitter.com/7599OcCgYW
Citadel Honey Bunny was good enough. Though difficult to keep off. Difficulty in binge watching it, too much commentary and slow down. The plot was also weak.

Action scenes were good. Their acting was cool. All actors were awesome. Excited for S2.
