Disney Plus may have accidentally leaked the release date of its keenly anticipated Marvel series, WandaVision, much before the official announcement. And if the teeny weeny detective work is true, WandaVision may be releasing much before any of us thought it would.
Apparently, the folks over at website Murphy’s Multiverse caught on to an addition to the source code on WandaVision’s official landing page on the Disney Plus site. And guess what, the source code includes a value for ‘releasedate’, which is mentioned as 27-11-2020. In other words, if that source code is actually the real deal, WandaVision may be premiering on November 27. It is a Friday too, which suggests that Murphy’s Multiverse may have caught on to the actual release date of the Disney Plus series.
The website double-checked the info it came across, by checking the landing page of The Mandalorian season 2, whose release date is already known. That page has a similar source code, with similar formatting, which mentions the ‘releasedate’ value as October 30, which is the officially announced release date of The Mandalorian Season 2.
So, if the info is indeed true, WandaVision may arrive on Disney Plus on November 27. The platform released the first trailer for WandaVision last week, and it quickly became the most-viewed trailer in the fastest time. The outlandish and cutesy trailer has amped up viewers’ excitement for the series.
WandaVision replaced Falcon And The Winter Soldier in the order of release at Disney Plus. The latter was slated to release first, but has now been pushed back to a spring 2021 release.
In India, the Marvel series will arrive on Disney Plus Hotstar.
