But, some random accounts keep on posting #BoycottBollywood. The latest title to join the honorific league is Anubhav Sinha and Netflix India’s IC-814.
We have expressed to you how it is a really well made series with a lot of appreciable elements. We also shared our detailed review and a report on the way audiences are reacting to the show.
But, now it is on the target. You needn’t guess that all the hijackers of the IC-814 had names which are typically used by Muslims.
But, while watching the series, you would know that two of the hijackers go by the name of Bhola and Shankar, which are quintessentially Hindu names.
So, did Anubhav Sinha really change the religion of the hijackers for the series?
The answer is, NO.
You see, these terrorists don’t call each other by their real names. They use codes. Two hijackers actually had the code names Bhola and Shankar during the hijack. So, it is totally untrue that Anubhav Sinha changed the name of the hijackers, he just used the code names because that is what they used during the entire hijack.
So, choose and research well before you are affected by such fake and half-baked inflammable narratives.
