Nani and Netflix are kind of inseparable in recent times. Nani is surfing the success wave with continuous hits like ‘Dasara’ and ‘Hi Nanna’, positioning him as a powerhouse performer in Tollywood. OTT giant Netflix purchased both these films and as per the buzz going around, it did once again with the upcoming film, ‘Saripodhaa Sanivaaram.’
Adding to his streak of consecutive triumphs, Nani is starring in the Telugu action drama film, ‘Saripodhaa Sanivaaram’, directed by Mental Madhilo-fame Vivek Athreya. Produced by D. V. V. Danayya under DVV Entertainment, the film has a stellar cast, which includes S. J. Suryah, and Priyanka Arul Mohan in leading roles.
Cinematography for ‘Saripodhaa Sanivaaram’ is handled by Murali G., and editing by Karthika Srinivas. Notably, the music and background score are composed by Angels-fame Jakes Bejoy, which marks his first collaboration with Nani and Vivek Athreya.
The Nani-Athreya duo is not new: these two have already worked on a romcom film Ante Sundaraniki, which starred Nani and Nazriya Nazim in pivotal roles. Their second collaboration, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, marks 31st venture of Nano as a lead actor.
With Nani’s recent film, Hi Nanna, emerging as a blockbuster hit and securing a spot in Netflix’s top 10 list, anticipation for this upcoming film is at an all-time high. ‘Sariopodhaa Sanivaaram’ is set for a theatrical release on 15th August, 2024. According to the reports, Netflix bought the digital streaming rights for the film, yet there is no official announcement.
