Om Raut’s massively mounted venture ‘Adipurush’ was finally released in theatres last week, but the film unfortunately suffered from widespread negative word of mouth on social media platforms and was mired in controversies. Many movie goers seemed to be disappointed with the film’s execution and other aspects. In case you were also one of those who watched and didn’t like ‘Adipurush’, then we recommend you stream a show on Indian OTT.
We are talking about a documentary series called ‘Legends Of The Ramayana With Amish’. You can stream it on the Amazon Prime Video OTT platform. The first episode of the three-part docuseries can be watched for free but to watch the remaining two episodes, you would have to subscribe to the Discovery+ channel on Prime Video.
Narrated by Indian author Amish Tripathi (writer of Shiva trilogy and Ram Chandra series), ‘Legends Of The Ramayana With Amish’ traces the footsteps of the beloved Lord Rama and his sacred journey. In the informative docuseries, Amish Tripathi travels 5000 kms and covers various important places associated with Ramayana. These include Ayodhya, Chitrakoot, Dhanushkodi, Hampi, Rameswaram, and Sigiriya, amongst others.
During his journey, Amish Tripathi meets various people including a paleoseismologist, a temple trust member, an author, an Indologist, a speleologist, and an aviation expert, etc. and listens to their valuable insights on Ramayana with some unexpected revelations and lesser-known stories.
You should watch the docuseries ‘Legends Of The Ramayana With Amish’ not just for entertainment but also to get enlightened with unique and interesting knowledge about the epic. Before watching it on Amazon Prime Video / Discovery+, you can first watch the trailer / promo of ‘Legends Of The Ramayana With Amish’ to get a better idea about the docuseries.
