We at Binged had informed our readers earlier that Disney Plus Hotstar has a screen adaptation of Anuja Chauhan’s best-selling novel ‘Those Pricey Thakur Girls’ in the works. Well, it’s now time for the show to release on Disney Plus Hotstar. Titled ‘Dil Bekaraar’, the series adaptation of the book will premiere on Disney Plus Hotstar on 26th November, 2021.
The platform has released several short teasers that are amping up the excitement for the show. Since ‘Dil Bekaraar‘, like its source book, is set in the backdrop of eighties Delhi, the teasers take viewers back in time to that era. The teaser features Sahher Bambba, one of the lead actors of the show, as a newsreader on National TV. The news she reads out is funny and interesting, all of it set in the eighties.
‘Dil Bekaraar’ features actors Padmini Kolhapure, Poonam Dhillon, Chandrachud Singh, Medha Shankar, Raj Babbar, Saher Bammba, Akshay Oberoi, Sukhmani Sadana, Tej Sapru, Shataf Figar and Anjali Anand. The story follows the journey of Laxmi Narayan Thakur, his wife Mamta and their 5 beloved daughters. The series is being produced by Smruti Shinde’s SOBO Films, and directed by Habib Faisal.
