Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s Comeback film, Vakeel Saab is currently in the theaters. The movie is combating the COVID Second Wave in its bid to recover its 96 Crore Share target in the theatrical run. On the other hand, there were reports that the movie will be opting for an early OTT release to cover the losses if any.
Amazon Prime Video bagged the Digital rights of the film. But then, the makers have confirmed that the movie will not release on the OTT space any sooner. Producer Dil Raju released a video saying that the movie will not release on OTT space before 50 days of its theatrical release. If the 50 days window is taken as a hint, the movie may stream on Amazon Prime Video from May 29th.
Vakeel Saab is the official Telugu Remake of Bollywood Blockbuster, Pink. However, Vakeel Saab is a highly commercialized Remake of Pink. The movie even has a heroine track with Shruti Hassan. This is the second Remake of Pink after Nerkonda Parvai, a Tamil film starring Ajith. While Pink is available on Amazon Prime Video, Nerkonda Parvai is streaming on Zee5 in India.
