As per the latest update, this well-known production house will bankroll the long-awaited movie of the Malayalam industry. This news also conveys that the movie will soon arrive on the big screens despite the audience’s thought of shelving the project. Which company is going to back the effort? ‘Parakkum Pappan’ is expected to be a superhero comedy-drama that will be directed by debutant Viyaan Vishnu based on the screenplay and dialogues by Raffi, where Grand Productions were signed to bankroll the effort.
However, due to some technical and personal issues, the movie got a big delay from its first official update in the year 2022. Since then, the audience speculated the movie is going to be shelved.
Subsequently, the movie’s post-release will have a noticeable comparison with Basil Joseph’s ‘Minnal Murali’, which is also having the same storyline and hence has a considerable challenge for the effort.
The recent update says that Gokulam Gopalan for Sree Gokulam Movies will be associated with the film as its co-producer, which might be due to its increase in budget and to attain popularity based on their upcoming movies like ‘Kathanar: The Wild Sorcerer’.
Actor Dilieep will be playing the title character in the film who will be known as a ‘local superhero’ and will be bankrolling the flick.
