Last year, he became the first Punjabi Singer to perform in Coachella and he announced proudly, “Now it has been written in history. Punjabi aa gaye hum Coachella (Punjabis have reached Coachella). And those who don’t understand my songs, catch the vibe”. He is now on an absolutely amazing run with sold out shows in Dallas and Vancouver. With recent movies like Chamkila and Crew, the singer-cum-actor tasted huge success as well.
Diljit Dosanjh announced this news through an Instagram post. He will be one of the guests in this week’s Tonight Show along with Eddie Murphy and Matty Matheson. Recently the trailer for Diljit Dosanjh’s new Pubjabi movie ‘Jatt And Juliet 3’ was released. It stars Neer Bajwa alongside Dosanjh and is a romantic comedy. The trailer is liked by fans and the previous two films in the series did good business at the box office. Diljit’s versatility in switching over Bollywood and Punjabi films and also at the same time going global with his music is enviable for many Punjabi singers.
