Out of many things that the box office collection of any film affects, OTT release is one important of them.
There are many disasters that were released on OTT just two weeks after the theatrical release. While many successful films take several weeks if not months to release digitally. Please don’t count Vikram Vedha (2022) in this list.
Let’s talk about Gadar 2 now. Needless to say, the film is one of the highest grossing films of Bollywood ever. It has brought the box office under a Tsunami and the collection has failed all the predictions to gross more than 400 crores.
So when will Gadar 2 be released digitally?
Well, the director of the film has a disheartening update.
Director Anil Sharma said: “People won’t get to watch Gadar 2 on OTT anytime soon, as the film is still in the theaters, it will start streaming after 6 to 8 months. Till then, so many people would have already watched the film in theaters, and so many have done so already… We’ve managed to excite the audience, and that’s the biggest success for the film.”
Gadar 2 is not coming to OTT anytime in 2023. But whenever it gets released on Zee5, team Binged will be there to inform you of the official update.
