For almost a month now, we have been getting weekly teasers for Disney’s and Marvel’s upcoming web-series WandaVision. And we have got another 1-minute teaser, which dropped on the twitter handle of Disney+ a few hours ago.
WandaVision will be the first ever series to be interconnected in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s (MCU). This television series is also expected to kick off MCU’s Phase Four. WandaVision is going to be part of a long list of TV series which will be part of the MCU, with five more dropping during this year alone.
The superhero mini series is expected to have only 9 episodes and will premiere in 10 days. WandaVision had also dropped another 30 second TV spot recently, just a couple of days ago, on the twitter account of Disney Channel. Check out both teasers at the end of this article.
Both teasers have given us much to think about, while at the same time doesn’t give away much information at all. We know that Wanda and Vision both come to the suburbs and get “married”. The old black and white style of television of the 40s and 50s still persists in the trailer with the laugh track in the background but with each passing teaser, we find Wanda getting more and more confused by her surroundings (her powers awakening, maybe). We then see several repeated scenes (from previous teasers) and towards the very end of the teaser trailer, we see Wanda looking at a yellow explosion of sorts – which could signify the presence of the Mind Stone (which opens up another can of theories).
This time around Disney has provided original theme songs by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez just for Marvel’s WandaVision.
WandaVision will premiere in India on Disney+ Hotstar on January 15th 2021.
