Disney+ Hotstar has unveiled the trailer for its upcoming original series ’Life Hill Gayi’ where chaos, drama and fun ensues as two siblings fight for family inheritance. Helmed by Prem Mistry (‘Campus Diaries’, ‘Immature’), ‘Life Hill Gayi’ will premiere only on Disney+ Hotstar on 9th August, 2024.
‘Life Hill Gayi’ trailer begins in a hilly town where two siblings come to know that their grandfather (Kabir Bedi) is ready to pass down his properties to one of them but there’s a condition. And that is whoever prooves their worth in restoring the old worn down hotel in the hills and brings back its glory will inherit all the property.
Then begins the competition between the brother-sister duo where the sister (Kusha Kapila) is all focused on doing what needs to be done to revive the hotel and claim her rights on the property. On the other hand her brother (Divyenndu Sharma) who also wants the same thing but gets al little derailed as he meets an independent, working village girl (Mukti Mohan).
Their desperate and often chaotic plans do not seem to be working and when a group of people declare the hotel to be haunted everything starts to go haywire. So who will win this inheritance war and will they go to any extent to get what they want?
Set in the aesthetic Uttarakhand, ‘Life Hill Gayi’ promises to be fun, chaotic, emotional, dramatic and fresh slice of life comedy that is relatable, lighthearted and edgy at the same time. But despite a great ensemble cast the trailer looks pretty messy and not so funny.
Directed by Prem Mistry and written by Jasmeet Singh Bhatia, ‘Life Hill Gayi’ stars Divyenndu Sharma, Kusha Kapila, Mukti Mohan, Vinay Pathak and Kabir Bedi in prominent roles.
Produced by Aarushi Nishank under her Himshrri Films banner, ‘Life Hill Gayi’ will premiere only on Disney+ Hotstar on 9th August, 2024.
