Disney+ Hotstar has unveiled the teaser of its upcoming Hotstar Special Malayalam series ‘Nagendran’s Honeymoons’ and it serves the purpose of teasing the audience as it’s supposed to. Coming from Nithin Renji Panicker (‘Kasaba’, ‘Kaaval’), ‘Nagendran’s Honeymoons’ is a comedy series and will premiere soon only on Disney+ Hotstar.
Nagendran is a grown man who lives alone with his mother in a small village after his father left them. Though he wishes to make something of his life he is clueless how to do it. He then gets to know that if he travels abroad he will be set for life but his mother doesn’t agree at all. One of his friend then suggests a unique solution to him.
And that’s when the teaser shows glimpses of a wedding and five different women and leaves it to the audience to guess what is this new way and how it could help Nagendran get out of his village and fulfil his dreams.
The storyline, the music and the setting of ‘Nagendran’s Honeymoons’ have that familiar feel yet has that refreshing vibe at the same time. The comedy part does not feel forced as of yet and seems to come naturally through the story as it plays out.
Written, directed and produced by Nithin Renji Panicker, ‘Nagendran’s Honeymoons’ stars national award winner Suraj Venjaramoodu alongside Ramesh Pisharody, Shweta Menon, Kani Kusruti, Grace Antony, Ammu Abhirami, Niranjana Anoop, Alphy Panjikaran, Kalabhavan Shajohn, Alexander Prasanth, and Janardanan. ‘Nagendran’s Honeymoons’ will premiere soon only on Disney+ Hotstar.
