Bhuvan Bam’s ‘Taaza Khabar’ is returning for a second season and this time things are about to go downhill and that too big time. Helmed by Himank Gaur, ‘Taaza Khabar’ Season 2 will premiere only on Disney+ Hotstar on 27th September, 2024.
In the trailer launched today for ‘Taaza Khabar’ season 2, Vasant Gawde aka Vasya’s boon has now turned into a bane. His power of getting to know the future is not working as it did and this is supposedly because his luck or better say Lady Luck isn’t in his favour. Whatever he touched earlier turned into gold, well it’s all turning to crap now.
As fortunes turn into misfortunes for Vasya, real trouble comes when one highly powerful and dangerous man Yusuf Akhtar (Javed Jaffrey) believes in his forecast and loses a lot of money. He now wants 500 crores in two weeks. Will Vasant Gawde be able to turn his fortune around one more time or will he resort to unlawful activities in this tale of destiny and deception?
‘Taaza Khabar’ season 2 trailer looks interesting and Bhuvan Bam as Vasant Gawde looks really promising playing a character that’s flawed but will have you rooting for him.
Created and written by Abbas Dalal and Hussain Dalal and directed by Himank Gaur, ‘Taaza Khabar’ is a fantasy comedy thriller drama starring Bhuvan Bam, Mahesh Manjrekar, Javed Jaffrey, Shriya Pilgaonkar, JD Chakravarthy, Devendra Bhojani, Prathamesh Parab, Nitya Mathur, Shilpa Shukla and Mithilesh Chaturvedi.
‘Taaza Khabar’ Seaosn 1 marked the OTT debut of popular YouTuber Bhuvan Bam who also produced the show alongside Rohit Raj under his BB Ki Vines banner. The show received mixed to positive reviews for the storyline and performances. ‘Taaza Khabar’ season 2 will premiere only on Disney+ Hotstar on 27th September, 2024.
