The highly anticipated South Indian flick, ‘Lift‘, will premiere directly for streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar in October. What’s more, the trailer for this movie is expected to release tomorrow, on 24th September 2021, exactly a week before the movie releases on the aforementioned OTT platform. This Tamil movie has been waiting in the wings for almost half a year now and we are finally getting to watch the movie online, as soon as it drops.
While much about the film is still under wraps, the movie will likely involve our lead actors, Kavin and Amritha, getting stuck in an elevator (hence the ‘Lift’ title). The motion poster shows Kavin and Amritha covered in blood, with Kabin holding a knife – which could mean that we are looking at a possible horror thriller. Not a bad idea, to scare people in their homes. Check out the motion poster at the end of this article.
Like all other trailers, we expect this one to drop in YouTube – most likely in the official Disney Plus Hotstar channel. While we are not sure about the exact time, it would be beat if you guys keep your eyes peeled from any time after 11 AM. Similar to other Tamil films, we have a feeling that the film producers wanted to release Lift in theatres but the second wave of coronavirus and the subsequent rise in Covid-19 cases forced their hands. While it may not be the release they envisioned, the movie is finally making its premiere, on Disneu Plus Hotstar. And it is less than 10 days away.
