Disney+Hotstar’s Unprecedented Promotional Strategies For Brahmastra

Disney+Hotstar Is setting new trends in the field of promoting films. The platform has released multiple videos, promos and posters regarding the streaming of Brahmāstra to make sure nobody gets to miss the information. Now Alia Bhatt has released one more video on Instagram promoting Brahmastra’s streaming on Disney+Hotstar. It was a comedy video featuring Ranbir Kapoor who was says that he would not do any more promotions for the film, but as soon as the director Ayan Mukherjee calls, he agrees to do that very reluctantly. Ranbir also joked about Alia’s character calling out ‘Shiva’ again and again in the movie and said he made more promo videos than her pronouncing Shiva. This little video sketch was one of the many promotional strategies taken by the platform for BrahmāStra’s digital success.

It has never happened before that a film is being promoted by an OTT platform when it is successfully running in the theaters. Hotstar had started it early and it will definitely help in its digital success.

For Brahmastra, it is evident that its promotion and marketing was successful as it was one of the biggest hits of this year. It is set to have its digital premiere on the 4th of November and we expect it to be a roaring success in OTT as well.
