Disney’s Encanto is releasing on Disney+Hotstar soon. This animated film is one of the newly announced musical fantasies that will be produced by Disney.
Encanto will be released on 24th December. Surprisingly it is the same date Atrangi Re will release on the same platform. It means that the two will release on the same date and will be clashing against each other.
Also, 83 will hit the theatres on the same date. It will be extremely difficult for Encanto to attract any audience apart from kids.
Regardless, Encanto apart from English will also release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Disney+Hotstar has also released dedicated posters in each language. It is clear proof that the production house is well aware of their potency in the Indian market.
Earlier as well, the animated films of Disney proved themselves to be highly popular in India. Looks like Encanto may continue the legacy of animated Disney films.
Talking about the story, it revolves around a young woman called Alma Madrigal and her three children. After being blessed with magical powers, she builds a house called Casita. The whole village is indebted to their protection.
And just like every animated Disney film, something wrong goes on but everything settles down well in the end.
