The movie tells the story of Lieutenant Junior Grade Daniel Kaffee, a young naval lawyer who has not previously fought a single case but is appointed to defend two colleagues who are accused of murder. Kaffee gets to know that the victim Santiago was given a ‘Code-Red’ by higher authorities. He tries to prove his point to the adamant judge and jury and his wonderfully delivered defense becomes the usp of the whole movie.
‘A Few Good Men’ has its cinematography handled by Robert Richardson and the music given by Marc Shaiman. If you are fond of legal thrillers, you should not miss this one at any cost. The play and the movie were inspired by actual events and the subject was handled with huge sensitivity. ‘A Few Good Men’ was nominated for prestigious awards and won many of them.
