Raj and DK have made quite a name with their wonderful OTT projects like ‘The Family Man’ and ‘Guns And Gulaabs’. They have also made some wonderful movies in the past, and if you haven’t watched them, you should start now.
One of the finest movies that the filmmaker duo has made is ‘Shor In The City’. The movie tells the story of Sawan, a young cricketer who wants to make it to the under-22 team, an NRI businessman waiting to make a huge deal and a minor criminal who is also trying to fulfill his ambitions. All three of them take some life-changing decisions and have to face many challenges. All this happens during the Ganesh Chaturthi.
The movie runs for one hour and fifty two minutes and is a very engaging watch. There is no need to introduce the directors Raj and DK, they have done a beautiful execution in this film as well. The cinematography was handled by Tushar Kanti Ray and the music of the movie was composed by Sachin–Jigar and Harpreet. The film had its theatrical release in 2011 and was well received by audiences and critics.
It stars actors like Sendhil Ramamurthy, Tusshar Kapoor, Nikhil Dwivedi, Preeti Desai, Sundeep Kishan, Pitobash, Radhika Apte, Girija Oak and many others. The performances are great and the screenplay is a very tight one.
