“Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” is going to blast big time. It is better to make sure that you witness this masterpiece first show of the first day. Because Marvel just confirmed a big rumour in the new featurette. The illuminati, a secret society to protect the multiverse has been name dropped in the new featurette which apparently confirms their presence in the movie.
The former trailers and the TV spots of the movie had hinted the presence of the Illuminati, the scenes where Doctor Strange is captured and accompanied to a chamber and the voice of the Patrick Stewart’s Professor X gave the doubts of the presence of illuminati, but in the new featurette we can see Mordo says “Stephen Strange, the illuminati will see you now” it has been officially confirmed that we will see illuminati in this movie
Illuminati consists many powerful superheroes across the multiverse. In the comics it consists a representative from every super hero team like Doctor Strange representing sorcerers, Black bolt the king of Inhumans, founder of the X-Men Charles Xavier or professor X, Tony Stark the founding member of Avengers, Namor the submariner, Black Panther the king of Wakanda and Reed Richards the leader of Fantastic four. The illuminati act like a secret organization and they protect multiverse form threatening anomalies. The one like MCU’s Doctor Strange is trapped.
This highly powerful team will have a major role in the Doctor Strange 2 and now it is only the matter of time to witness how many of these heroes will make an appearance in the movie. This movie is already packed with several cameos and the presence of illuminati will only make it bigger.
