The trailer for the much awaited ‘Don’t Breathe 2’ is out now and this time it’s heavily loaded with action, chills and thrills of all sorts. The film is a sequel to the 2016 Don’t Breathe with Rodo Sayagues set to direct.
‘Don’t Breathe 2’ is set in the years following the initial deadly home invasion and Norman Nordstrom aka Blind Man (Stephen Lang) has now been living in isolation, hiding from the world for many years. He has given shelter to and raised a young girl, who lost her family in a house fire.
In the trailer we see the Blind Man training the girl how to protect herself. But soon after, they are seen under attack from a group of criminals who have come to kidnap the girl. And it is then that the Blind Man uses his extraordinary killing skills to protect her. What follows is a whole lot of dark, violent and gruesome action.
The horror-thriller film stars Stephen Lang, Brendan Sexton lll and Madelyn Grace in the lead. ‘Don’t Breathe 2’ is co-written by Rodo Sayagues and Fede Alvarez who have also produced the film along with Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert.
The executive producers are Nathan Kahane, Joe Drake, Erin Westerman, Andrew Pfeffer, Rick Jacobson and Stephen Lang. Kelli Konop, Brady Fujikawa and Romel Adam are the film’s co-producers.
Presented by Screen Gems and Stage 6 Films in association with Ghost House Pictures and a Bad Hombre Production, ‘Don’t Breathe 2’ will release in theatres on 13th August, 2021.
