The ongoing drama with Marvel Television’s production strategies and creative challenges has made us almost forget all the brilliant shows that Marvel has delivered in the past. Some of those shows are highly underrated without a shadow of a doubt. One of them is Marvel’s Hit-Monkey series.
Hit-Monkey revolves around a wronged Japanese macaque (voiced by Fred Tatasciore). He receives his fighting abilities after getting trained by the ghost of hitman Bryce (Jason Sudeikis). We see him planning to wreak havoc on Tokyo’s crime underworld in the show to avenge the murder of his tribe.
The animated series totally works due to its amazing voice performances, wild and bloody fight sequences, and sensational animation. It also balances sad moments with crazy humour. Ultimately, the show has a breezy vibe, making it a highly enjoyable binge-watching experience. It is different from other Marvel shows or movies, which makes it more compelling. The show, at times, looks bizarre, yet it works beautifully. It will attract the attention of those viewers who like fast-paced shows. Moreover, its Rated-R tone adds more spice to our viewing experience.
