Finally, after a two year gap (thanks to the global coronavirus pandemic), the biggest e-Sport tournament in the world – ‘The International’ returns today. This year’s DOTA (Defense of the Ancients Tournament) tournament titled ‘The International 10’ will be its 10th edition and it will take place in Europe for the first time since its very first tournament, back in 2011. The tournament will take place from October 7th to 17th in Arena Națională in Bucharest, Romania. The two groups are as mentioned below:

Each team from Group A and Group B will face other team’s from the same groups. The best four teams from each group stages will go to the upper brackets of the knockout stages. The bottom four teams of each groups will get knocked out of the tournament. The remaining teams will battle each other in the lower brackets of the knockout stages.
For those who feel that the name DOTA is familiar, it is because a popular Netflix original animated series called ‘DOTA: Dragon’s Blood’ is currently streaming on the streaming platform. The animated series is has gained fans among anime enthusiasts as well as Netflix subscribers. If interested in the game, check out the aforementioned tournament.
‘The International 10’ can be streamed online from multiple platforms. The tournament is completely free to watch and can be viewed Twitch, YouTube and through the game DOTA 2 itself. The tournament starts today, from 12:30 pm onwards.
