Although he is predominantly seen working in the Telugu film industry, Indian actor Prabhas has gone on to become one of the highest paid actors in the entire country. He has starred in as well as headlined big-shot projects like the Baahubali duology, ‘Salaar’, ‘Adipurush’, ‘Saaho’, and most recently, the star-studded blockbuster from Nag Ashwin ‘Kalki 2898 AD’.
However, the pan-India superstar does not seem to be resting. He has a set of highly exciting and anticipated titles upcoming. The slate includes ‘The Raja Saab’, a romantic-comedy-horror film, ‘Salaar 2’, upcoming installments of the Kalki cinematic universe, and lastly, Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Spirit’.
Although major project details about ‘Spirit’ are being kept under wraps for now, a lot of rumours are being circulated around the internet about the character(s) Prabhas will be seen playing. To pique the interest of fans even more, it is being said that the Telugu sensation is all set to play a double role in the film!
Not just that, he is expected to be playing both the protagonist cop, as well as the main antagonist! Estimated to release around Christmas 2026, the film is being called a true action thriller. However this is not the first time that the actor is being rumoured to play a double role. Similar rumours were circulated before ‘Salaar’ and even ‘Kalki 2898 AD’.
