In every regional film industry, we are seeing that big silver screen celebrities are heading towards digital/OTT platforms. Till now we have seen Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and even Malayalam film industries leaning towards OTT ventures. Now, with the Bengali OTT platform Hoichoi’s #NotunGolpoHoyejak campaign, Bengali industry has also joined the trend in bringing a lot of big names from the film industry to the original OTT content.
Now, after Maradonar Juto, Mohanagar, Moh maya since April 2021, another new Bengali OTT thriller ‘Dujone’ is making its way. Apart from being a love story turning into a psychological thriller, this film will be creating a lot of buzz because of its lead cast. Yes, now it’s time for everyone to be surprised. It’s the much-loved on-screen pair, Soham Chakraborty and Srabanti Chatterjee. Yes, Bengali cinema’s two of the extremely popular faces are pairing for the first time for an OTT venture and we are sure that the fans won’t be able to keep calm.
Till now as we learnt, Soham and Srabanti will be portraying Ahona and Amar, a happily married couple who get tangled into a messy scandal. Mitali Bhattacharya is the writer of the story and as usual, the producers will be Shrikant Mohta and Mahendra Soni of SVF and this will surely be a gripping collaboration between SVF and Hoichoi.
The release date of Dujone is already revealed and the series is definitely going live on 9th July on Hoichoi and with the dark first look poster, Dujone promises to be an extremely intriguing edge-of-the-seat thriller.
