Dulquer Salmaan is one of the most celebrated actors from the Mollywood industry. Strangely enough, his best works are from Tamil, Telugu or Hindi films. Last year we saw Salmaan in a Telugu film called Lucky Bhaskar. The movie became a big hit on the big screens and the critics were very happy with the outcome of the film.
But the real magic began when the film arrived on OTT. The movie became a rage on Netflix as a lot of people simply fell in love with the concept and execution of the project.
Dulquer Salmaan delivered the character of Bhaskar who is a fictional character in the real world of Harshad Mehta.
Anyway, it has created a new record. It is the first film from South India that has been trending continuously for more than 13 weeks.
Mind you, RRR was far ahead but not continuously. This film has been trending continuously which is a big deal.
It is very rare for a film to gain this kind of reception but Lucky Bhaskar deserved every bit of it.
We are sure that Netflix wants more and more such films to be on its platform because it is not easy for one film to hook audiences for 13 weeks in a row.
